Class Description: Using Hadia’s Instruction Format this class builds on “Belly Dance Technique and Choreography” classes by polishing, refining and drilling movement. Learn to belly dance in a way that lifts your heart, opens your mind, strengthens your body, and challenges you to be a polished dancer. Whether you’re a beginner or a more seasoned dancer (of any style), this class will help you find the ease and joy of dancing with fluidity, precision, and grace – all while preventing injury by moving mindfully. This class provides a practice that expands upon and reinforces strong technique, reiterates proper posture, incorporates the use of various props, and provides preparation for performance. Each class runs for 60 minutes & repeats concepts throughout the year so every class is slightly different.
Prerequisite: Recommend at least 7 weeks of Melbourne Belly Dance “Intro to Belly Dance”. Enrollment in “Belly Dance Technique & Choreography” preferred but not required.
